Critical Conversations:
An Oral History of the Cross-Cultural Center at California State University San Marcos
Multicultural Mondays
Multicultural Mondays was a series of programs sponsored by the Cross-Cultural Center, then known as C3, held once to twice a month beginning in 2007. Dedicated to select identity groups on campus, these events gathered the campus community for inclusive and meaningful discussions that provided students the opportunity to engage, discuss, and expose themselves to multiculturalism - one of the defining tenets of the center. Multicultural Mondays engaged differing cultural, social, and ethnic groups on campus to address and overcome social stigmas and prejudices.
Pictured here is a handout from one of the events as part of the Multicultural Mondays Series. This particular event gathered members of the LGBTQIA community for a "personal discussion of faith," held April 23rd 2007.
